Since a childhood I have longed over the clear blue waters and colourful coral reefs of the tropics. As a photographer and keen scuba diver I have visited and photographed countries including Australia, New Zealand, The Cook islands, Fiji, Zanzibar, The Cayman Island, Egypt and many more.
However, it is my ambition as underwater documentary photographer to capture as much of it’s beauty as possible.
Being born in the U.K. I also document as much of the natural beauty the U.K. has to offer whilst adding artistic merit.
I have gained a foundation degree from De Monfort University, Leicester in Photography and Video and a B.A. (Hons) in Professional Studies (Creative Industries), De Montfort University, Leicester. Plus, I have also been lucky enough to be trained as a Divemaster by some of the U.K. most experienced instructors at Stoney Cove, Leicestershire, U.K.
I then travelled to Zanzibar, Tanzania where I worked as a Divemaster, and as an Open Water Scuba Instructor. I was also lucky enough to have worked for the BBC in Zanzibar as a safety diver and worked with some of the world best videographers such as Dider Noirot, who was Jacques Cousteau’s personal photographer and videographer on his famous boat named ‘The Calypso’, along with presenter Nick Knowles and marine biologist & presenter Tooni Mahto. I have also worked as a Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor in England, Greece, Egypt, The Cayman Islands and Thailand.
